Amanda Gillespie is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner accredited through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri – Columbia and graduate studies at the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
She has over 14 years experience in nursing. She started her nursing career in med-surg nursing but swiftly developed a passion for float nursing which allowed her to practice emergency, intensive care, and subspecialty nursing skills. She also has experience in clinical informatics and is passionate about using technology to improve healthcare delivery. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Internal Medicine, and Geriatrics. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. She is passionate about nursing leadership’s role in the ever-changing healthcare environment and is eager to help lead EPC in the optimization of transitional care.
In her free time, she is an avid reader, and she enjoys traveling with her husband and two children.
