Tammy Minshall is a board-certified Advanced Practice Nurse. She has been in the medical field for over 25 years. She has been in Post-Acute Rehab and long-term care for over 15 years. Beginning as a Nurse Tech obtaining her Diploma RN program in Iowa. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2003 from Webster University. She became a preceptor for new hires and students at a local hospital where she developed a passion for teaching. She completed her Masters in Nursing Education in 2007 from Webster University. After missing direct patient care from the bedside, she went back to complete her Masters in Advance Practice Nursing from Maryville University in 2017. Before she retires, she would like to complete her Doctorate in Nursing practice.
Tammy has been with Elite Patient Care and Kansas City Medicine Partners since 2017. She enjoys the collaboration of care that encompasses Post-Acute Rehab and LTC residents. She has recently entered the role of Director of Clinical Operations. She collaborates with the Elite Patient Care team to facilitate and grow the practice in Missouri and Illinois area. Tammy was born in Iceland, lived in South Africa, and has developed a thirst for travel since the day she was born! She finds fulfillment from participating Ugandan medical mission. Tammy is completed by a husband of 21 years and 2 high school teenagers. Tammy’s most devout passionate is about caring for our elders, ensuring they are given respect and dignity they deserve.
