REGIONAL MEDICAL DIRECTOR, CENTRAL TEXAS

Jessie Mueller

Dr. Jessie M. Mueller is our Central Texas Regional Medical Director for Elite Patient Care (EPC).

Dr. Jessie M. Mueller, originally from Mount Pleasant, TX, earned her acceptance to medical school while a senior in high school through The Partnership for Primary Care Program at Texas A&M University Health Science Center’s College of Medicine. After completion of her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Dr. Mueller attained her Medical Doctorate through the split campus program of Texas A&M, serving 2 years in College Station and 2 years in Temple at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital.

Her enthusiasm for full scope family medicine drew her to stay at Baylor Scott & White for family medicine residency. During this training period, she was able to serve as a Board Member for the Susan G. Komen Central Texas Division and had the opportunity to complete medical missions in Ghana, Honduras, and China. After completion of residency, she became board certified in Family Medicine through the American Academy of Family Medicine.

She later joined the Scott & White family as a Senior Staff Physician in 2007. Dr. Mueller has since helped to develop the Neurology Headache Clinic & Fellowship Program; led as the Associate Medical Director for the Belton Urgent Care & Family Medicine Clinic; and taught as an Associate Professor for the Texas A&M College of Medicine. She has developed further healthcare organizational knowledge through her service on the S&W Hospital Ethics Committee and the HealthPlan Pharmaceuticals & Therapeutics Committee. While maintaining her strong clinical role at BS&W, Dr. Mueller also completed her Executive MBA at The University of Texas at Austin.

Subsequently, she started her practice with Elite Patient Care, LLC providing post-acute and long-term care facilities with a dynamic combo of patient-focused quality clinical skills and business oriented fiscal management. Throughout her time with EPC, she has earned her title as a Certified Medical Director through The Society for Post Acute and Long Term Care Medicine.

Outside of work, Jessie is happily married to her husband, Matt, of 10 years. She enjoys spending time with her family and working with rescue animals as the former President of APAC (Association for a Pet Adoption Center). She & Matt have a toddler son named Wyatt in addition to 5 adopted, furry, four-legged kiddos. They all enjoy time spent together at their home in Troy, TX.
